Reflection
The movie is about the genocide in Rwanda. Rwanda is a very small country in Africa. The genocide is between two different tribes so UN or other powerful countries thought joining the war was not good for them and also they thought there were any benefits for joining the war. They did not really care of the situation of Rwanda. Those indifferences made the situation more badly. To make the movie, the creator wanted to show the worse situation of Rwanda but UN or other powerful countries really don’t care about Rwanda.
Also looking at Paul’s action, the audience may felt many things, because his mind and thought were changed. At first, he tried to only help and save his family. At that time, he also didn’t want to use his hotel as a refugee camp. Later, he changed his mind because he realized the situation. He tried to help everybody even using his money. He also used his hotel as a refugee camp for save everybody who wants to escape from Rwanda.

Rwanda
The definition of genocide is the deliberate killing of a whole nation or people. According to the interview of Mark Dolye, the war in Rwanda was different from other wars. He said the war was just a tribal war, but scale of the killing was just unbelievable
He also mentioned “I didn't use the word "genocide" for several weeks, because I didn't have enough information to be able to say that.” But I think it was genocide because one tribal was killed by another.
This movie is about genocide in Rwanda. Also this movie is a true story. This movie affected me a lot. I’m thankful to God because I’m not an African. If I was born in African at that time, I couldn’t live anymore. I can’t understand Belgians. They only treated Tutsi well, because they look nobler than Hutu, so they got angry. If I’m Hutu, I will get angry too. But Hutu fought against Tutsi. I think it was wrong, because Hutu should fight against Belgians. Also Europeans had lots of faults. They pretended to help Tutsi, but they helped European heritages. Europeans thought that it wouldn’t be any help to them. They didn’t want to help them. I think Tutsi and Hutu are same people, so they should have the same rights. I’m very proud of Paul because he saved many Tutsi, sacrificing himself. If I was there, I would have helped Tutsi too, even though I am Hutu. I can learn lots of things. I was moved because this was a true story.
In the movie, there were some media to help or to give information. Radio was the most common media at that time. By the radio, Hutu communicated each other and gave information. Like the media in the movie, media is very important to give information or to communicate.

The Road not Taken --Robert Frost
The advantages of conformity are learning society and cooperation, making friends and so on. Also you can feel that you are part of the people. School is the best example. You can feel that actually Korean school, because students who are attending Korean schools have to wear school uniforms to think they are a little social group. Also the military is one of the examples of it. The advantages of dissension are creating your own ideas, expressing and showing individuality. This leads to individual character new experiences. The poem written by Robert Frost says, “I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” Therefore if you choose and go through the road that people don’t go, you can find there are new things that can change your life. You also can be the first man who goes the new way like the poem. These are your choices.
The disadvantages of conformity are that you cannot express your individual character. You also have to keep the rules that the group of people made. But I think these are not bad things. Also, the disadvantages of dissension are that you can’t lean how to act as one of the members of groups. Sometimes, you can have a very hard time, because you can go wrong way. For example, when one wild goose separates from the flock of wild geese, the flock of wild geese goes to a new area to live, and the goose is wrong and ignores the rule.
